LGBTQ+ Mentoring Program
The LGBTQ+ Mentoring Program is designed to empower LGBTQ+ students to enhance their on-campus experience.
Our mentors are out faculty, staff, and graduate students who are comfortable in their identity. They are here to help you navigate campus, develop life-long skills, and get you connected to resources that will help you make the most of your UND experience.
How Does it Work?
The mentoring program pairs participants together based on shared similarities and interests. Pairing students to mentors occurs in the following ways:
- Based on identities including sexuality and gender
- Specific needs or requests of the mentee
- By academic programs or related field
Program participants are expected to commit to the program for one full academic year
and can join at any time. Participants can continue to meet with their mentor even
after the program concludes at the end of the academic year.
